The Aster Confidence II Sweet Iron Wilkie combines our broad Gentle mouthpiece profile with a locking centre and Wilkie cheeks, creating a stable and supportive bit for horses that benefit from consistency in the mouth alongside additional poll influence. The locking centre limits the degree of movement through the mouthpiece, reducing independent movement and creating a more stable feel than a freely moving jointed mouthpiece. This can be particularly useful for horses that become unsettled by excessive movement, feel inconsistent in the contact or benefit from a clearer, more defined connection with the rider's hand.
The Wilkie cheek introduces additional poll influence when the rein is engaged, providing the rider with greater refinement and control than a standard loose ring while retaining a relatively neat and unobtrusive cheek.
