Aster was born from years of hands-on experience in the field as a bit fitter, combined with a passion for improving comfort and communication between horse and rider. After seeing the same issues time and time again—poorly fitting bits, uncomfortable pressure points, and limited, overly complex options—I decided it was time to create something better.

Aster bits are designed to be thoughtful, effective, and horse-friendly. We focus on subtle refinements that make a big difference: smaller, softer joints for today’s narrower jaw shapes, carefully shaped mouthpieces to reduce pressure on sensitive areas, and smart material choices that balance durability and comfort.
